These spoons are a gently curved material and so are gentle enough to be baby spoons. Horn also carries no taste and pretty much stays at room temperature unless deliberately heated or frozen, horn also doesn't stain.  Can be as good as egg and sauce / condiment spoons too. 
Peter Hodgson works with horn, using the traditional handcraft skills passed down through generations. Horn is not easily affected by acids, oils or vinegars, does not stain or carry taste. Its exquisitely varied markings and increasing rarity make it a truly delightful material. 
Horn, though light, is strong, durable and easily washed in lukewarm water.
Avoid hot water and detergents. Not washer safe. If you wash your items in a washing machine they will fade, lose their shine, become brittle and disintegrate.  Also not microwave friendly. 
Made from Cow horn using machinery and heat to manipulate the material. Pollished using pollishing compounds.
