Peter Hodgson works with horn, using the traditional handcraft skills passed down through generations. Horn is not easily affected by acids, oils or vinegars, does not stain or carry taste. Its exquisitely varied markings and increasing rarity make it a truly delightful material.
Horn, though light, is strong, durable and easily washed in lukewarm water.
Avoid hot water and detergents. Not dishwasher safe. If you wash your items in a dishwasher they will fade, lose their shine, become brittle and disintegrate. Also not microwave friendly.
Made from Cow horn using machinery and heat to manipulate the material. Pollished using pollishing compounds. You can serve hot food using these servers.
